On December 18, 2020, the Henan Provincial Department of Water Resources and the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued a notice on the announcement of provincial-level water-saving enterprises, and Henan Jianghe Paper Industry Co., Ltd. was listed. This is another honor our company has received in terms of water conservation since being awarded the "Wuzhi County Water saving Enterprise" and the "Municipal Water saving Enterprise" in Jiaozuo City in 2018.

The establishment of "water-saving enterprises" is an important means of implementing the strictest water resource management system and implementing the "dual control" indicators of total water resources and intensity. The acquisition of the title of "water-saving enterprise" is the recognition and support of the government and society for the achievements of enterprises in water conservation work.   And through technological means and management innovation, sustainable utilization of water resources has been achieved, with significant results in water conservation and emission reduction. The social benefits created are even greater than the economic benefits of the enterprise.

Jianghe Paper Industry has established a water-saving leadership group to continuously strengthen refined water management and promote the creation of water-saving enterprises. The company has established a water use inspection system, a water use ledger management, an internal water use quota management, and an actual water use assessment reward and penalty system. It conducts periodic inspections of water appliances such as faucets, pipeline valves, and flushing valves at each water use point, and promptly maintains and handles any problems found; Regularly conduct statistical analysis on the water consumption of main equipment, promptly urge to identify and rectify any abnormal data, and comprehensively prevent water resource waste such as running, emitting, dripping, and leaking; Conduct water balance testing on a periodic basis, and carry out water-saving technology transformation based on the water balance testing report; Reward the achievements of water conservation and emission reduction in the production process, vigorously create a water conservation atmosphere, and strive to achieve multi use of water, full utilization of water, and reuse of wastewater.

Each paper machine production line of Jianghe Paper Industry is equipped with a white water sedimentation tank. The wastewater is treated by sedimentation in the tank and reused in the internal system of the paper machine. The remaining wastewater is treated by anaerobic and hydrolysis acidification in the Fenton treatment system of the sewage treatment station and reused again. The total reuse rate reaches 91.74%, and the unit product water intake is at the advanced level in China and the leading level in the province; The steam condensate recovery system is mainly used for boiler feed water. While improving the efficiency of the steam heating system, it saves the consumption of fresh water and reduces the discharge of wastewater. Approximately 510000 cubic meters of condensate water are recovered annually; Through measures such as optimizing and renovating the full spray water system, recovering and utilizing the secondary steam of the coating machine, and recovering and utilizing the cleaning wastewater of the sedimentation tank, water resources have been recycled. The annual reduction in fresh water volume is 375000 cubic meters, and the annual reduction in steam volume is 28800 tons.

The responsibility for protecting water resources is significant, and water-saving work has a long way to go.
